Footprints for Grandma’s Garden

We are enjoying our Florida vacation, mostly on the beach. I wanted to have the kids help me make something special to thank their Grandma for all she has done for us to make our trip special. This whole last week has been volcano week in our house! That is what our science has been about and my kids are loving it 🙂 We went to the library for books and DVDs about volcanoes, built and set off volcano models, played with food volcanoes, and tons of facts about volcanoes have been learned. I must say, volcano week has been a huge hit at the Spaulding house! I even did 16 more models with my art class today.

Glow-in-the-Dark Fun Day

Today the kids and I used some small black lights we found in the Target dollar bins a few months ago to do some glow activities. We had so much fun I just had to share with my mommy friends!
