Glitter Shoes Upcycle

Each day I hear many things over and over since I have three kids 5 and under. Besides, “I love you,” my favorite thing I hear each day (multiple times a day) from my middle child Bella is, “I’m going to be a great doctor someday momma.” My sweet girl loves the Disney show Doc McStuffins. Because of this show she talks about being a doctor all the time. I get my temperature “taken” (with her hand and fake thermometer) a few times a day, and I’ve been diagnosed with many crazy sounding illnesses. I thought I would share it now since many people are already looking forward to/preparing for Christmas.

Sewing Practice

I have been sewing a big project lately for Christmas and my two girls keep asking when they can learn to sew. Not willing to give them tiny sharp needles, I came up with a fun and safe alternative. Plastic needles, yarn and my colander!

Water Painting

Noah has been enjoying water painting today and I had forgotten just how much fun this is for a two year old! The girls love it still too, and it is so simple to do. All you need is a chalkboard, chalk, water in a cup and a paint brush. Continue reading “Water Painting”
