I love pumpkin flavored things and I love chocolate covered pretzels. So, I came up with a yummy recipe that includes both! Pumpkin flavored white chocolate covered pretzels.
Ingredients:
10 ounces white chocolate or vanilla almond bark
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin pie spice
A few drops orange food coloring
Pretzels
Shortening (in case your chocolate seizes up)
Melt your white chocolate either in a double boiler or in the microwave in thirty second increments. Once it is smooth add the pumpkin pie spice and food coloring. If your chocolate seizes when microwaving or when mixing the food coloring in (very common with white chocolate) use a little shortening to make it smooth again.
Keep adding until smooth and usable again. Dip pretzels in the coating and let cool on wax paper. I also made some plain white and drizzled that over the orange pumpkin flavored pretzels for a pretty finish.
They taste so yummy! I even had a close friend and her family taste test for me and they liked the as well. I love that when you eat them they are sweet and salty, but the you get the pumpkin spicy at the end 🙂 thanks for stopping by!

These sound great! I’m definitely going to try them, I am also a sucker for anything with pumpkin spice (had a pumpkin spice bagel this morning for breakfast!). A friend of ours said that pumpkin is the new bacon, and I think I agree, at least for the months of September thru December! Thanks for sharing the recipe, looking forward to more 🙂
Who knew? I absolutely love yogurt covered pretzels! And pumpkin too. I would have never thought of pumpkin pretzels. May have to try this. I’m a baker and love to try new things. Good stuff.
These look amazing!
