Key lime pie is one of my husband’s favorite desserts. Last night I went to make him one to thank him for doing something for me and I only had one can of sweetened condensed milk and my recipe calls for two. Not wanting to head to the store at 10 p.m. I decided to do some research and make my own! Now that I have made it at home fresh, I must admit it was just as good or better! I’m pretty excited for tonight! Every so often I will hostess a girl’s night with some girlfriends at our house. We usually play board games, talk, laugh a lot and enjoy fun snacks we all chip in on. Since it is after the kids bedtime we don’t have a meal. Each of us brings a snack, homemade or store bought doesn’t matter. I like to make something though since I love to bake/cook.
