Realizing Valentine’s Day is only a little more than a month away, I have been looking back through some pictures of past Valentine’s Day snacks I made for various parties and friends. I put together a few ideas to share here for my readers.

Grinch Rolls
Over Christmas we were invited to a Christmas party and when the hostess told me she was making Grinch punch since we would be watching “The Grinch” I got excited to make something Grinch themed as well.
X-ray for a Child’s Doctor Kit
This year I put together a doctor kit for my daughter who is in love with the idea of becoming a doctor. One of the things I just knew she would love is a pretend X-ray. So after some brainstorming I came up with a way to make her one 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I hope all of my readers have had a very Merry Christmas! I know for our family it is one of the busiest times of the year, and when we aren’t busy we are focused on family time as much as possible! So I have had no spare time to blog, but I will be back at it now with the new year 🙂
Our Christmas Card 2012
This year I was determined to do something different for our Christmas card photo. I researched and checked Pinterest, but kept coming up with the same ideas. Tons of people were doing similar family photos. I have a strange quirk in that I love to be original and different. So I have been thinking and brainstorming for a while now on ideas. It hit me finally, I LOVE Christmas carols! Why not let my kids act them out in pictures 🙂
Gingerbread Nativity Party
Yesterday I hosted my annual gingerbread building party! This year we were able to do gingerbread nativity scenes 🙂 I have an awesome friend who gave me a gingerbread nativity kit last year for Christmas. I have been waiting all year to use it with my small group girls for our annual party and it was so much fun.
Wall Nativity Templates
As promised, I finally got my templates for the felt wall nativity finished. With a lot of help from my hubby I now have them uploaded for all my readers who have been begging for them! Happy Thanksgiving everyone and I hope the templates help 🙂
Alphabet Soup Bath
I am always trying to find new ways to make learning fun and exciting for my kiddos. One night after dinner there was a lot of whining about needing to take a bath. So I announced, “I’m going to let you take a bath in alphabet soup!” My children’s attitudes completely changed and they were very exited and begging for bath time.
