Lemonade Stand

Last weekend we had a garage sale after some spring cleaning and decluttering at our house. We did a Friday through Saturday sale. My girls loved helping sort out old clothes that no longer fit and were eager to help with the family sale. So when Katie asked to have a lemonade stand I said yes!

We did a bit of a more modern version of a lemonade stand in that we got water bottles and little packets of lemonade to pour in. That way if someone just wanted a bottle of water they could. They also had a choice of lemonade this way because we got regular lemonade packets, raspberry lemonade packets and pink lemonade packets.

Then we made cookies and brownies to sell with the waters/lemonade. I love baking with my girls πŸ™‚ we made peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies.

They had lots of fun and since we have been studying money in math it was a great learning experience for my girls too. In case you didn’t notice my favorite part of all of these pictures is at my silly middle child photo bombed all of the photos I tried to take of the different parts of their table! Love that kid πŸ™‚ Also did you notice my washi tape clothespins from my last post? We even had a super hero show up (my son) and you can see the girls at their table in the background.

Isn’t he adorable?! The girls sale was VERY successful! They almost sold out the first day and we had to rebake everything Friday night to have enough for Saturday. They were so proud of themselves and I learned my Bella is quite the saleswoman. Our garage sale was pretty successful also and it was an all around good family experience. Thanks for stopping by!
