Washi tape, have you seen this cute decorative tape? It is sold in most craft stores and is in many different sizes, colors and patterns. I love it, but it can also be pricey for a small roll. About a month or two ago I found some in a clearance bin for really cheap and ended up bringing four rolls home for a dollar! I have been using it on tiny projects and am in love with this pretty little tape.
I needed some clothespins to hold tiny little signs for my girls lemonade/baked goods stand at our garage sale last weekend. I looked at the plain clothespins and thought to myself they should be dressed up a bit. I thought about paint, or glitter but that seemed too much work for cute clips. I needed something quick and easy. Washi tape!
I just taped over both sides of the clothespin and I loved the little yellow leaves pattern because it went with our lemonade stand theme 🙂
Literally 5 minutes later my plain clothespins transformed into cute clothespins! It was just what I needed to dress up their table a bit 🙂 I love how simple and fast it was also. Thanks for stopping by!
