Capitol Day!
Today was Capitol Day in Oklahoma! We traveled to Oklahoma City to the Capitol building. More than 2,000 homeschoolers attend this really cool event. It is a day for homeschooling families to meet their representatives, tour the capitol and participate/watch several neat things. Here is a little look into our day.
DIY Moisturizing Face Cream/Body Butter

Cloud Dough

The softest sensory dough I’ve ever made with quirky properties that made it really fun to play with 🙂 Continue reading “Cloud Dough”
Volcano Week!
This whole last week has been volcano week in our house! That is what our science has been about and my kids are loving it 🙂 We went to the library for books and DVDs about volcanoes, built and set off volcano models, played with food volcanoes, and tons of facts about volcanoes have been learned. I must say, volcano week has been a huge hit at the Spaulding house! I even did 16 more models with my art class today.
