So I know it’s only August 1st but…. I LOVE FALL! I just know its getting closer and the days have been so hot and loooong, I’ve been dreaming of Fall.
Apple cider, pumpkin pie, caramel apples, pumpkin carving, beautiful leaves, apple cobbler, pumpkin roll, fun costumes, our church’s annual carnival, crisp mornings, chilly nights, bonfires and s’mores! See I told you I love it 🙂
So I decided to share some of the past Falls’ pictures everything from costume ideas to pumpkin patch trips to playing in the leaves. Enjoy, I know I have looking through them!
Katie’s first Halloween, I made her a baby chick costume out of a feather boa.
Bella in a fall dress I loved 2 months before moving to Oklahoma so almost exactly 3 years ago!
My girls and cute hubby playing in the leaves the week after we moved into our house here in Oklahoma, I just loved Bella’s one year old pig tail puffs!
This was the same Halloween I couldn’t make their costumes because we moved in October and I just couldn’t move and sew them that year 😦 but I think they made cute monkeys in the costumes my mom got them!
My poodle Bella! I made her a poodle from 2/$1 bath puffs around her wrists, ankles, waist, on her “ears” and head. She loved it 🙂
This is Noah’s octopus costume I made from tube socks and buttons for suction cups on the tentacles. Then I sewed two buttons on his baby hat for eyes. I think he made an adorable octopus.
This is the octopus toy I sewed together from his costume as a Christmas gift.
This was Noah on his first “talk like a pirate day” as a lil pirate cutie!
These are from our front yard last year playing in the leaves and posing on the steps for momma 🙂
These were from our pumpkin patch trip last year 🙂 the last one is so funny because it looks like Noah is sitting up there alone and little but if you look in the big wheel there is Eric holding him!
These are of Bella last year in her jelly fish costume she asked for. I made it again with deconstructed 2/$1 bath puffs. Even her little blue pail has some hot glued on. She called herself a “belly fish” and I loved it!
This was Katie’s little red ridding hood costume last year. I love how beautiful it looked on my beautiful little girl!
Thanks for stopping by and dreaming of Fall with me!
Johanna 🙂
I agree with you! Fall can’t come soon enough 🙂
Love your costume ideas – especially the jellyfish and red riding hood ones! They are adorable.
I thought I’d let you know about a creative costume contest that is happening at http://www.halloweenhero.com/costume-contest-2013.html – and the grand prize is $250! You’re ideas are very creative and I thought you might like to enter.
Keep the great ideas coming – it’s almost Halloween, again!
Best,
Peter
