Micah 6:8 Painting Project

A painting project the kids and I did today. It was “pinspired” in that I’ve seen something similar on a canvas on pinterest. I loved it but did not have a canvas, and wanted to use different colors. So I used some shoe box lids I had been saving and painted them a light blue. Next I let each of my 3 kids take a turn helping me make each print with light yellow paint. My youngest is the hand print, my middle child had paint along her pinky fingers and edge of her palms and made the heart print in the center picture, and finally my oldest’s footprint is in the last picture. Then over each print I used a white paint pen to write, “Act justly, Love mercy, Walk humbly… Micah 6:8”

I hung them over my couch and love how it turned out! It was a fun simple project with my kids and cost me nothing but time since I had all the supplies already. Thanks for stopping by šŸ™‚
