I get to meet weekly with some awesome high school and middle school girls. We do a bible study, discuss life and sometimes have a quick craft that I can apply to their lesson. These girls are amazing and I am honored to be a part of their lives! For the past few weeks we have been discussing their words and how they use them. This week one of the points of our lesson was to use what we say to encourage and build up those around them. So we made some easy DIY lipgloss as a reminder to have sweet words this week. Yes Easter is still two weeks away, but my kids have been begging to dye Easter eggs since February. I blame Walmart for getting all of the Easter stuff out the day after Valentines Day! I have held my kiddos off as long as possible and finally surprised them yesterday with Color Surprise Erupting Egg Dying!
In my art class this week I made up more of my Glow Shaving Cream Paint . I set up a room with black lights and we used it in two art projects. We made glowing crosses and glowing Easter eggs.
Who doesn’t love glow fun?! My kiddos love it! Glow fun in the bath tub with glowing paint? Let’s just say my 3 year old cried when I made him get out after an hour 🙂 Best part is there are only 2 ingredients for this fluffy glowing bath paint! Continue reading “GLOW Bath Paint”
This week in my art class we did a fun and simple project, Fingerprint Crosses! I love giving them projects to take home and display that go with the season. So thinking about Easter and my elementary art students I settled on these fun crosses!
