Earth Day Art

I’m sharing another quick and easy Earth Day project we did today in my art class 🙂 First I read the creation story to the kids and we discussed how important our earth is because God created it and put us here with instructions to take care of it. Then we made some fun tissue collage Earths.

I drew circles on black paper and they used glue, blue and green tissue squares to cover the circles. Then I wrote Earth Day ’14 (I like to date these projects) and Gen. 1 so they remember the Bible story. I think they had fun making these! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
