April showers… all I can say is, YAY! We are having wonderful rain today and I’m so thankful for it. My garden and yard are grateful also 🙂 Oh how I love the arrival of spring, and the showers we are getting are just a glorious reminder. Today I am sharing a fun treat the kids and I made to celebrate.
We made “Spring Brownies” which really only means adding some fun springy sprinkles to our normal brownies 🙂
Seriously simple and yet made them so much more fun for my kiddos! We even made a batch for our sweet neighbor who is pregnant with a little boy we can’t wait to meet 🙂 my kids loved putting on sprinkles and declared them the best brownies ever. I love making simple things just a little more special, thanks for stopping by!

That is a great idea. My kids love sprinkles and would probably put them on meatloaf if I let them. I have a huge stash of them in my kitchen and am always looking for new ways to use them. I just have one question: did you put them on when they were still warm so they would stick?
I put them on right before baking 🙂
