DIY Christmas Gifts: Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

Today I am sharing another gift I have been making for my friends and family this Christmas, homemade hot chocolate mix. I tried several recipes, but ended up just making my own 🙂

Ingredients:

3 cups dry milk powder
1 1/2 cups non dairy hazelnut creamer (vanilla can be used as well)
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups coco powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

I put all the ingredients into my food processor and let it blend until all of the chocolate chips were powdered.

Once everything is powdered together I put some in pretty glass jars. I used some small decorative bags to put tiny marshmallows in and then tied them to the jars with pretty string. I also added a tag that says, “Merry Christmas! Love the Spauldings” on one side and, “Hot chocolate, add 1 T. of mix for every 1/4 cup of warm milk” on the other side.

I love how it turned out, and the mix makes a scrumptious creamy chocolatey drink. Thanks for stopping by!
