Frozen Slime!

I have three children, 6, 6 and 4. Let me tell you how many times we have watched the Disney movie Frozen… nah, it’s too many to count. Like many parents of small children I know this movie better than I want to admit and can sing every song 🙂 So when I couldn’t take the kids outside yesterday due to rain we made Frozen Slime! Pretty much like normal slime but in dark blue, light blue and white. They loved it!

Materials:

1/2 cup white or clear school glue
1/2 cup liquid starch
Glitter (we used white, light blue and dark blue)
Blue food coloring

First mix the glue of your choosing white or clear gel glue with the glitter and food coloring if desired.

Then slowly add the liquid starch while stirring. About a teaspoon at a time or it will look like this!

When you have the consistency you want it will look like this.

I gave each of my kiddos a little of each color and let them play and mix!

It made for a fun time indoors while it rained 🙂 we played for an hour with this! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
