Potato Print Summer T-shirts

I love potato printing! It is easy and fun for kids to do. The girls and I found some cute t-shirts at Walmart for 3 dollars and used them to potato print summer shirts. I am lucky to have two little girls who love art and crafts as much as their momma!

First I cut the potato in half and used a toothpick to “poke” an outline of my fish. It’s hard to see in the picture but I could see it when cutting.

Then I cut around the shape and down a bit to create the stamp.

Mix 1 part acrylic paint with the fabric medium.

Next let the kids stamp away πŸ™‚

Sweet and bright summer shirts, they are so proud of making the shirts themselves πŸ™‚
